Meet Chaz Polson
My work focuses on raw, expressive figures and symbols — stripped down to their essential form. I’m interested in tension, erosion, and the space between structure and chaos. Each piece is built through layered marks and restrained color (sometimes) , allowing the subject to feel both familiar and unresolved. The goal isn’t perfection, but presence.

How did your business come to exist?
I'm a roofing contractor by trade, and I coach youth wrestling when I can. Painting is something I've always done in my free moments. My wife and my mother started showing their friends some of my work that was just sitting in my basement. I'd hardly call it a business — but I really enjoy that other people enjoy my work enough to hang it up in their homes and places of work.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
"Score next." It came from my wrestling coach. "No matter what happens, good or bad, you should be focused on getting the next best thing — score next." I try to keep that mentality while navigating this world.
Do you like to win or hate to lose?
Hate to lose, for sure.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Roofing or painting, my favorite part is meeting all the different types of people. Hearing their story and making a connection in some way — usually through a few giggles. I love to serve, so when there's a need and I have a solution, I'm there.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Spending time with my family — my wife Grace, daughter Parker, and son Charley. I'm also a professional MMA fighter. Great exercise and a fun outlet.
What is your biggest challenge?
Time. There's never enough of it in a day to do what I want. I've got a lot of pokers in the fire.
Where do you find inspiration?
Western movies, retro branding, and the cool people I meet. Other artists, for sure.
What is your dream project?
I really, really want to build a giant barbwire desk. I just have no idea how to execute it yet.
