About Karen Starkey

Karen Starkey was born and raised in Wyoming, but after earning a Business Marketing degree at the University of Northern Colorado, she knew she'd found home, and loves helping her clients do the same!

 

Karen's clients benefit not only from her local community knowledge, but also from her vast experience in the hospitality industry, where she developed a deep skill-set including negotiations, people and project management, and problem-solving. 

 

When Karen isn't helping people make smart moves and investments, you'll likely find her in the mountains - she loves hiking, biking, camping, snowshoeing, and fly fishing. And, as a certified sommelier, she knows the perfect bottle for every situation, and loves exploring new varietals and vineyards, both on long domestic roadtrips and while traveling to international destinations! Back at home, Karen also enjoys baking and is a tenacious reader. Looking for a new local wine store, independent bookstore, or trail to check out?
